Hello friends!

I’m Savanna — Oregon native, book fanatic, photography educator, and love enthusiast.

After studying photography in college, I worked as a university photographer while associate shooting weddings on the weekends. I quickly realized how fulfilling it is to work with couples and transitioned to a full-time wedding photographer in 2019.

When I'm not working with the most amazing couples, I love educating other photographers and helping them fall in love with flash photography.

I competed ballroom dance in college.

I shot college football and basketball

before switching to wedding photography — less chance of getting run over or tackled!

Stovetop popcorn

is considered a perfect substitute for dinner any day of the week.

Audiobooks are my jam!

I finish a new one almost every week and can talk for hours about all the things I’m learning.

Photographing the details

is one of my favorite parts of the wedding day.

I grew up visiting the Oregon coast

every summer and to this day have never visited a warm beach!

I’m one of those people

that zigzags the entire walk to the car, just so I can step on every crunchy leaf in a 10-foot radius.

The Hubby and I nerd out

I've been married to the most wonderful man for six years and it’s truly a blast! If we’re not crashing at home with a movie and Indian takeout, you can find us hiking, obsessing over audiobooks, or taking last-minute road trips together.

People used to laugh when they heard I was majoring in photography, but I can’t tell you how much my degree has helped me in the real world! My experiences in college jump-started my technical knowledge and instilled in me a desire to always improve my craft.

If I couldn't be a photographer, I'd want to be a florist. It’s my not-so-secret hobby! I love any excuse to work with florals and try to incorporate them into every shoot. There’s such grace and elegance to florals and they make my artsy heart happy!
